Superb Nitinat day :lol: :lol:. Spent an hour and a half in the morning giving a lesson to a newbie from Calgary. She got the Kona going, but couldn't get it turned around in the 20-25 knot wind. After getting the board back with the help of Strong KB, I almost had the Kona planing with a 3.7. Then sailed the smaller gear. Forgot the GPS till late and I was tired, but 42 kmph - must have been around 50 early on on OP downwinders in the smooth water between waves. A few little chop hops sailed away from. Way OP for a while, decided that it was getting crazy and rigged the 5.0, but it dropped off again so I stuck with the 5.8. Nailed a couple of jibes and stayed dry on most. Tired by 3:30 after yesterday's marathon.
