Arrived at 9:30am to not much, maybe 10-12kts, so rigged the 6.0m Flyer. Jo-Jo and Docker out with 3 big kites on the grass. Went out and foiled pretty quickly. Wind picked up so came in after 15 mins to rig down to the 4.5m Flyer. A little under powered for the rest of the session but still foilable. Docker left, I think he wasn't happy about the rain stopping..?? I dunno?? So me and Jo-Jo playing n the waves. Wind was up and down a bit. Jo-Jo is the hardest working Wanger out there!! Pumping, swimming, doing the hula on the board, ass in, ass out!! Kind of like a dance party on his little Gong board. Dogg showed up on his 6.0m and was flying, wind ramped up to 18kts and they both went in to change foils and Wangs. I stayed out for another 15 mins and wind felt like it was getting lighter so I came in to see what all the hub-bub was about with their Wangs and foils. Decided that was enough for me and it was Corona time. That's when the rest of the Wang-Gang showed up, Tweez, MF4 and others. I hung out shirtless on the beach for awhile then pulled the chute! It was a bit chilly in my speedo today but not bad for late October. 2 days in a row with big waves wasn't bad. I'm getting more used to riding the waves downwind. Maybe a new skill to practice'?? Or just go back to my fav flat water spots.??
BOBSON OUT!!
