Got up early (sore), made coffee and went flyfishing with my Dad. In about 1.5 hours we landed about 8+ nice trout in a small lake he had found a few years back. Caught and released all except 2 big ones which we cooked up for breakfast. My first time landing fish on a fly rod. Sweet. Started the windsurfing day on the 4.8 Hucker at noonish....moved my front footstraps inboard and went to one back strap from 2 straps.....made the Hucker feel a bit slower/controllable but still so so fast. After just 2 runs on the 4.8 I went down to a 4.4 Revo, sailed that off and on for the rest of the day. Watched the campsite clear out at 5:00 pm.....it cranked until dark. No one out. Slept on the beach in a Bivi bag...woke up at 3:00 am to screaming winds/icy fog for an hour. Campsite was almost empty and I kept hearing things moving around? Kinda freaky so not much sleep...then up at 5:00 am and over to Hornby Island for some skimboarding.
