Persistence!! Went to Willows this morning, no bueno. Went home and then to Costco with wife gaining some credits. Then headed to IV as it looked doable. It wasn't. Waited 45 mins and still no bueno, although it was close. Decided to try CP. well' best choice of the day besides the jumbo hot dog at Costco. Anyways, arrived at CP at 3pm to 10-12kts so rigged the 7.0m, by the time I got on the water it was 10 gusting 15kts. First run out my hat came off. It's my favourite orange hat that I found in the water right in the middle of the inlet at China Creek this summer so had to go back for it. Other than that quick stop, I just cruised around CP over to 1st boat launch and then over past Gemmy Jones and back. The gusts were very strong and I was basically just sheeting out the 7.0m, as I could have been doing fine on my 5.2m. As I got close to the 2nd boat launch saw the Twizzler machine and knew there was some fun to come. 5 mins later he was out ripping around with me, so much more fun with a foiling buddy. It started to get dark so I pulled the plug, came in and grabbed my phone and took some videos of The Tweez doing fancy turny Wang stuff. We both de-rigged in the dark and I'm sure both smiled all the way home as the session was pretty great flat water sesh with Mt. Baker going from orange to pink and was so beautiful!!
BOBSON OUT!!
