Another day, another awesome Willows wingfoil session. The webcam looked good all day but I wasn't able to play until just before suppertime. The wind on the beach seemed weak at about 12kt W so I rigged Cab6. Got in the water about 330 and I was quickly foiling just off the beach and, I thought, I may have oversized. But, there was no going back, I didn't have a lot of time so I sucked it up and stayed on the 6m. I saw Bobson ripping fast out of CP and saw the winds were even bigger out there. I was overpowered on the 6 but it was manageable, that wing is so stable. There was lots of luffing on foil and lots of turning into the wind. Just did short laps between the teahouse and MTI. It was gusty in the bay I didn't really need the even bigger winds beyond that. I did try to get over to Bobson to say hi, but I crashed on the downwind run. Meh. Great short session for a short sailor. 33 min on the water with 27 min on foil is a sweet newb achievement!
