Arrived to some white caps and Bobson flying way outside. Seemed windy, Rupdog was humming and hawing, I convinced him it was windy and we proceeded to go for it. I rigged the 4m, little did I know the cunning Rupert had hedged his bets and rigged a 5m. Bobson was coming off the water and said 4 was good, I'd be fine, lots of wind. At first it was fine, managed to lightly skip over the sandbar just waiting to get sent for a header (super low tide). Had some nice reaches and then noticed it getting very light and holey. Was doing tacks and would come out with no power and unable to get going again. Spent the next half hour on the verge of being able to fly but always not quite enough for the 4. Meanwhile rupdog is merrily flying around and it's driving me nuts cause I'm thinking he's on a 4 too! I finally threw in the towel, No Mas!
