Another first, this time winging at Long Beach. I've been waiting to do this for a while and it was fun!!!! Glad Shaggy was there to as my winging buddy, for a few reasons, as I probably would have caved to windsurfing pressure and not winged. Was nervous getting out, but it wasn't huge day so it was actually really easy. Once outside stayed out and played on the waves. Super fun day with lots of nice rides. Watched Shaggy catch a few bombs! I was super stoked to be able to sail way outside in the bay, never gone out that far windsurfing. It did cross my mind that I would be in trouble if I popped my wing, but was feeling stoked! Once reach later my wing bursts. Didn't pop it. I was pumping and I heard a hiss and I was swimming. So glad Shaggy was there, he saw I was in trouble and after a few attempts we figured out a system and he towed me in. So thankful he didn't give up and brought me in. I was a long way out! Thanks man!!!!
