Brought my windsurf gear as I feel the need to get back in the straps and smack some lips, but conditions were slog and ride so wing it was and it was pretty sick. Got knee deep with the 5.0 and realized it was solid 4.0 so switched rigs. Big sets and big period. Super fun picking off set waves outside the break and riding them way down the beach. Only got caught a few times inside but got back out unscathed. Wind got light and gusty later on but managed to make it work. Have to learn to tack out of the wave riding up wind. Felt dailed in making most of my jibes and minimal breaching. Oh Yeh, I saved Tsawwassen from certain death after he blew a bladder. The whales were circling and sensed his fear!
