Arrived to lull but pumped up the 5 when it looked to be filling in. Weird session, couldn't seem to get foiling then the foil was super unstable and I crashed often. Barely made the last beach, ooched past the rocks and fought kelp. Made double my walking goal on my watch in a double WoS ferrying the board and wing separately. The mast was thunking sometimes on the board during the walk. Found one screw missing and one track screw pulled right through the base plate slot and the base plate badly bent. Lucky to still have the foil! No wonder it was hard to sail. Should have checked more carefully before launching. Rigged the big board with the deep tuttle box and got a few more runs, very overpowered but a whole lot easier sail!
Watched a great kite rescue, kiter with ripped kite towed to near the beach, released the kite and picked up by the kite looping rescuer, he delivered the torn kite to the beach and blasted back to Clover.
