Woke up to one of the craziest sunrises I have ever seen. wow. What a beautiful place. Got up early and re-nested into the hammock with the sleeping bag till about 8:30am. Wind began to come in around 10ish. Rigged the 5.7 at first but ended up trying out the 6.2 and that seemed to do the trick. Lots of power! Not as much wind as yesterday but still managed to get up on a plane at some points throughout the day. Trrrrrrying to get into those footstraps but man is that board so much more responsive than the previous 160L. Feel like I really got to shimmy the feet. stayed out till about 3:30ish then packed it in to head back to Duncan and real life. What an awesome last couple days it was. My wrists and abs burn lol. Ill be back sooner than later :)
