First time out in the swell with the new 115L. Found having to waterstart between wave sets quite different. I was confused at certain points where I would lift my sail to waterstart, but hardly had a puff to pull me up.. At first I couldn't tell if the wind was just shutting off and on, or if the waves themselves were just "blocking" the wind from reaching my sail while I was in the water, trying to get my sail as high as I could to waterstart. On another note I totally get why some guys don't use anything over a 5.0. hauling that 6.2 can be a bit much lol, BUT I need all the power I can get at this point. Rather not be stuck out there if the wind dies down drastically. wish I could have stayed longer but family and real life was calling me. Fun times!
