Eastside and Udder were on it quicker than i was and got some early goods. I sailed out into a lull with the JP and on the way back in dropped into the water...no wind!!! Was fortunate to get going again without encountering any boats...had that deja vu feeling. Came back in alternating between slogging, down in the water, swimming, water-starting...repeat...repeat....repeat... arriving at the beach a fairways down wind. On the way back I did see 3 otters enter the water from the rocks about 8 feet away from me and swim off. A mixed bouquet of flowers floated by in the water on my way back as well. Pick them up to bring back to Udder but then had second thoughts as they may of been sacred funeral flower cast in the water with ashes up wind. I respectfully released them back to wind and water. This made my morning fail all worth it!!!
Fortunately the wind came back for a power hour. After the prior fickle wind episode I took my Firemove 110 but then wished I had the JP as I got into the stronger than expected past Clark Rock. Still was a ton of fun chasing and riding the swell on the Firemove and 5.5.
