Waffled between 4 or 5 wing as it was 20 knots. Went for the 4. picked up to 30 knot gusts right away. Apologies to the new guy Matt for suggesting a 6m wing. He must have got spanked. Bit much for the 1099 but determined to tame it. With the crazy amount of glide I could ride that thing downwind as far as I wanted with no sail input. My eyes have been opened to the possibilities. Nailed my first tack attempt. Tried another 20 and only got one more. Too windy. Used a Timmies lid for a shim and it was way less pitch sensitive. Thanks Greg.
