Clive was out when I got to Clover but otherwise solo. Inexplicably, there was copious parking and I got the most favoured spot next to the hash lines and the boat house. I got a launch from Brett and proceeded to have the most wonderful session despite the fact that I had been off the water for a full month. I felt a little rusty to start but that past quickly. I then had a fabulous session with generous SSW winds and a very thrilling wind swell which allowed me to pretend I was in real waves. Tons of support from the big kite in the generous wind and I guess all that walking in Europe made my legs strong such that I did not tire for what is for me a long session. Warm, windy and wavey, what more could you want? Feeling grateful to be back home.
