Marginal conditions at early afternoon as Greg headed out in his 7m and I chose my Cab6.2m. Within 15min we were both OP'd and Greg went to switch to 5m while my laziness kept me out for an hour. I lost some gybe competence, but that may have been partly because those were the biggest swells I have yet hit! Tons of FOD hazard to flight as my previous day's drone view showed me. There was much foil clearing and I'm sure a hit a real kelp tree that stopped me cold. Cool to share the swells with so many experts to try and copy! Came in once my GoPro battery died and intended to switch to 5m. By the time I was ready to rejoin the fray the winds diminished so I went to 6mX3 as I lent my 6.2m to DocG. I got a few runs in but luckily sensed the impending wind loss and headed in after half an hour and missed the Angel of Death flotilla drift back to shore. Post flight beers after with Paul, DocG, and Idefix made for a fine foil day.
