Woke up at 7am to wind. Ugh! Had breaky, did my morning rituals, ate breaky on the beach, chatted with MtnarG about life. Headed out at 10:30am to 15-20kts on 4.5m and big board and 1000cm2 front foil with the 115cm fuse. It Ramped up to 25+ just after noon and went down to small board and 95 mast and fuse and 1100cm2 front foil. Longer mast was good for waves, shorter fuse was good for turnyness. Foiled 100kms and then went back to 4.5m as it dropped a bit, for about 10 mins then cranked again but I was too lazy to come in and rig down so played OP'd for 30mins and called it a day early. Stephane showed up and went out Winging on 4.0m. I had a couple Corona and watched. Hamburger and potato for dinner with red wine. Super classy! There is a party at Windrider Kiteboarding tonight. I will be in bed by 9:30pm. Tired. Wish I was young again. Live to sail another day. Hoping for less wind tomorrow! Haha! Only person with that wish , well, except the fishermen. Who this morning numbered over 100 that I could see. Heard a guy talking in the campground saying his friend caught 12 today. I think the Orca's are getting hungry. Great day!!! Might do some day trips in n July from Parksville. Pretty amazing place!!
