Not sure if I was too late or it just didn't happen here as usual on a morning NW. Looked like Pipers was good of course. Anyway, fun waves for short slog and ride. Zero planing runs but the 106 is pretty quick at catching even small waves so still fun and even made my first helitack of the year. Bonus was Sharon and I pretty much made Luke come to the beach and use My 5.3 on the Sup. Of course even after no sailing since last years Nimpkish trip Luke makes all his light wind jibes. Not bad for his first time using a sail bigger than 4.2. Good to see Alex from Victoria out Kite foiling, a couple of the local boys kiting and Tyler out windsurfing.
