Fickle wind day today. Followed MtnarG into the fray with my biggest Cab62. Marginal in the bay, then overpowered 3/4's of the way out. Very changeable too. The swell seemed more turbulent than usual, or my gybes are just not as good as I think they are. There was enough energy to surf the swells, but sometimes difficult to foil back out when the winds diminished. The winds did slow after about an hour and I ended session 1. Session 2 was later in the day with many of the RBYC Elite foiling hard including Tweezer doing balletic turns around my survival surfing while Pepe was doing high difficulty airborne tricks that were hard to imagine. Winds inside occasionally gusted to well over 20kts and I was very much OP'd with my Cab62. I decided to switch to something more appropriate after my second mast/kelp clearing procedure. By the time I was ready to get back in, the winds had diminished back to Cab62 levels. There was lots of wind and swell out by Clover, but I'll have to build skill and confidence to play in that maelstrom. I ended session 3 after only about 20 min. All fun!
