Little late for this wind probably, was really up and down with mostly down. The 5m DD is such a heavy awkward beast when underpowered so definitely should have had the 6.5 Slick instead which is also lighter. But worked well enough. Teflon tape on the fill valve threads did the trick on the leaky strut and did a soap test to make sure. Putting my journeyman plumbing skills to work.
Low tide when I got there and just happened to be eel grass at that depth so took a long time and a gust to get off the shore..
Not the best but very glad to finally have some wind at my local beach after a very long unwanted break.
One other winger and a windsurfer off of Ardmore and a kiter just coming in as I went out.
