Great to be back on the water again after almost 3 flightless weeks! Nice gusty, holey typical Willows winds. Gusts were frequent enough to be up and foiling quickly. The playground was the most consistent play zone. I tried out Lancer's 7m Stinger and found it stiff, strong, and predictable. The downsides were size and weight. Cumbersome to gybe with in lighter winds for my novice skill set. The wingspan was a bit long for my hobbit height so there were lots of inadvertent submerged tips. Switched to Cab 6mX3 for the second hour and very much enjoyed the ease of gybing with my usual familiar wing shape/feel. So nice to be out with such a big, keen group with Greg, Paul, Alain, Jon, Matt, Kalen, and Chris. Idefix was sharing his wing expertise with a new naval flyer recruit!
