Dr Mark on it first on a 5M. Wind jacked immediately and sent him downwind a bit and he packed up. I pumped up a 3M and was immediately lit to overpowered in building swell. The playground is still quite kelpy but hopefully it'll get thinned out soon by a few storms. Rode the Omen 850 for the first time in solid swell on the Ginxu. Wowee! What a foil. Last reach to the launch site had me pretty high on the mast and puckered as I skimmed the dense kelp field just under foil. Somehow I didn't crash and made it in without drama. Shaggy joined me and was ripping on 2.5 when I left for dinner. Kites were ripping huge jumps in the lee of the point. Inaugural Clover session was a success despite the high tide and debris field.
