Arrived at Noon to see Rupp-D playing hide and seek in the bushes'? Weird. Wind looked okay, maybe 10kts.? I started rigging the 7.0m Flyer and ULR arrived. He was a bit upset we didn't give an OSR and had to drive to see 'not much wind'. I headed out and it took maybe a minute to start foiling mostly because there was a sailboat race going right past the boat launch so I had to wait till they past as I didn't want to be 'that' guy. Anyways, got foiling in the first gust and didn't come off the foil till I came in. 42kms in 80 mins. HighRocker and ULR both came out and played for awhile but Rupp-D kept playing hide and seek I guess cause I didn't see him on the water. The Notorious D-O-G was out sailboat racing with his beautiful wife and a couple others that were giving me a dirty look for ripping by them upwind smiling and WooHoo'ing. It was definite 'BOBSON' conditions today. I think I timed it right today. Light 10kts to begin with then picked up a little 10-13kts for 45 mins then started to die off 8-9kts so pulled the chute! The 7.0m Flyer is definitely a 'Session-Saver'. My last 2 gybes needed 5-10 pumps to keep going.
