Yay! Another unexpected foiling session based on the poor forecasts. I headed to CP based on Paul's OSR that Bobson was on foil. Arrived at CP with RuppD, Paul, and ULR, watching Bobson foil around. Having just a short time window, I rigged 6.2m and hoped for the best. Lo and behold, foilable wind! It took more work than usual to get up and my upwind gybes were sketchy. Regardless, I was up and foiling. I had neither the skills nor gear to keep up with Bob, so I just did my usual drunken monkey carves. I wasn't smart enough to realize I was in the middle of a sailboat race. Luckily I stayed away from them until their course brought them to me, but I was able to stay out of their way. Short, but highly pleasurable time flying over water!
