One Run Too Many! How do you stop when you think the wind is going to die but there's wind at that moment? Arrived at 3pm and gave an OSR and then quickly rigged as I didn't know how long the wind would last. Answer was 57 mins. HA! Did some long runs out across to other side of James Island. Some larger chop in the tidal canal and then it flattened out on the other side. Lots and lots of crab pots out there. I was going to call it and came in super close to the beach and it seemed like more wind so gybed and headed back out for One More Run. Bad Idea. Got out to the other side and it started to get lighter so gybed and came off the foil. So close to getting back on right away but just couldn't do it. I'm thinking partly to do with the 95cm not the 115cm that has the front foil much further forward. Anyways, schlogged all the way back to the beach, about 200m out the wind almost died completely then it came back to 5 knots, enough to schlogg instead of having to pump the sail to keep moving. made it back to the beach and called it. Derigged and packed up in shorts and tshirt as it felt really warm. Made it home and drank the last Cororna. ugh, last one. that sucks!! Guess it's time for a G+T.
