I got an hours' worth of foiling fun with Greg, Ben, Jon, and Max. Met Slava, a newcomer, who was getting familiar with his board/foil in the the shallows. 6/10 conditions. It was the usual gusts and holes but with an offshore wind. I usually enjoy the gusts, but there was no real base wind for foiling. It was either gusting or nothing. Hard to stay up on foil for extended periods. Greg was rippin' it and was super happy with how well his HA foil was flying. I luckily got steady winds good enough to do an 18-gybe sine wave. I was too chicken to follow Greg to the better winds past MTI with the offshore W. I called it after an hour when the pumping got too frequent and long. But, what a summery session! This is November, isn't it?
