Left work early as I wanted a warm-up with the 'new' foil for tomorrow. Similar gear but just different. 900cm2 front foil instead of the 800cm2 and 255 SLR stab instead of the reg. 255. The new stab is higher aspect and thinner which is supposed to be faster but was not as lifty. New fuselage, still 115cm but different leading edge which is supposed to be faster. So basically the same set up but there wasn't enough lift, which I'm thinking is the stab so I'll add some shim angle on it for tomorrow. I had 'a lot' of back foot pressure needed the whole session which didn't help me to make many gybes with my foot at the complete back of the board. I might put the old 255 stab on tomorrow to ensure that was the problem with not having enough lift. I'm looking forward to more testing tomorrow. I did put on the palm-less gloves today as it felt a bit chilly.
