Arrived at 9am to see Lil Twizz out foiling. The Big Twizz was suiting up, then along came RBL. We chatted for a bit then Big Twizz went out and I rigged up the 5.2m Flyer as it was about 12-18 with maybe a bit more outside. Pretty much all day, storm cells came through with big black clouds that brought the wind and rain. They would pass and the wind would drop a bit but at least the rain wasn't pelting the eyes. Had to work hard for the first hour then
the wind picked up and almost all the Wingers I know showed up. Missing were Windoc, ULR, Ruppdogg, DOG and maybe some others but I counted 17 Wings on the water or beach at one point. It was a pretty fun 2 hours although I had to come in a few times to warm up the hands. When it picked up after the 1st hour I rigged the 4.5m Flyer which was a much better size than trying to hang onto the 5.2m in the gusts. I silenced the WooHoo's at 11:11am to show my support. Wife and kid even came down today and brought coffee and doughnut. SWEET!! With all the Rainbow talk on the BWD website, there were multiple rainbows today. Weird?!?!? No wipeouts so pretty amazing day even though it was quite wavy, sometimes it fun to play on the waves......sometimes. Pretty thirsty after the session so headed home and cracked open a ice cold Corona. YES!! Hoping for some SE tomorrow. Maybe a stinky-poop session?
