1st "DW" post! Really this was more of a "can I actually stand on this thing in chop and paddle it" test than a true DW, but I paddled for an hour doing laps back upwind. Challenging conditions and not much in the way of steep swell to glide up onto foil. It was much more of an interval training/technique session, but I did get the board into the air twice before getting flung off like a booger off a kid's finger. Interesting learning curve ahead!
