Arrived at 9am to the lull and everyone regrouping from their 3m sessions. Chatted a bit then it seemed to be coming back so rigged big (5.5). Well that lasted 1 run out/in to get the 4m as it was cranking on the outside and big waves were moving in too! Overall a really fun day once i shook off the cobwebs and settled in to a bit of a groove. There were some very nice swell rides inside the normal lanes. Some unusually large waves too! Lots of wingers today, a dozen easy on the water at any given time, lots of gear and people on the beach. Sun, fun, waves,and wind!!
