Got to Willows about noon and the wires were howling. Some rafts of logs floating in the beach break suggested launching/landing there a bit sketchy. Dog arrived and we went down to look at Tweezers (water up to the third stair, mass of logs over most of the little cove and a big swell) and it was mega sketchy! We ended up at the bottom of Bowker which has a few parking spots. The little offshore reef (which has bedrock spirit bowls carved in it if you are ever there at a low tide) breaks some of the waves, but it was easing off as we launched so the break was not a big deal anyway. A swim in each different times as the wind would fill in for 15 min then die to almost nothing. It filled in and got steadier after 3 which was when I started packing up. Thanks for the company Richard! A third winger was out at the end, didn't see who that was. No gloves 12 degrees on Dec 27!!!!!!
