First session since Dec.9th and felt a little shaky at 9am launch. Powered on 2.9M near shore, but came in at 930 to rig bigger. Back out at 10am on the 4.2m and was powered up. First session with the new bespoke deck pad of dual density foam from NSI in the Gorge. No need for knee pads under the dry suit and better grip. Also provided a slight indexing under the back foot. Surprise meeting of Grey whale spouting 20' ahead and fell off board. Avoided the area after that. The shift to Southerly started to create a lull near shore, so called it.
