Sunshine and turtles!
Stoked to see a NW on the North Shore today. Arrived shortly after 11 to a quiet rigging area. First on the water with the 4m. Not enough to get past the breaks, reset with the 6.2 and surf was on! More wings joined in, hard to be discrete riding a beach ball on foil, made it work but no extras. Kept to the basic on the lower break, wouldn't venture in the overheads with my amateur skills on the inflatable. Enjoyed two long sessions in fantastic conditions with a dozen other wings and as many turtles.
