Arrived to sunshine, couldn't believe it! No shore bubble today! It was fun to ride right in front of the in-laws beach house so the kids could watch. Went way up wind past Rathtrevor. Lots of Sea Lions, at one point I saw one come up as I was going offshore about 50' to leeward, came back in a few minutes later thinking I was a good distance away from it, missed it by about 5' as it swam under me. I was pretty shaken and far from base so I started an epic 1.5 mile downwinder home. One kiter out at Rathtrevor otherwise all to myself.
