Lots of rain showers in the area, so expected the conditions to be unsettled. Got on the water as soon as it filled in. Picked up faster than expected with big gusts. The 8m was doing ok, but the gusts eventually were close to 30 knots. I made a bee-line back to shore and the wind died completely. A few foilers had to swim back. Waited around a bit and the wind came back. Nice comfortable 12 knots gusting to 18 for an hour or two, but only small swells. The holes started to get a bit bigger, so I called it a day. It eventually shut down. All-in-all, another great day.
