Arrived early @9am to light wind, 10kts with Fray-Fray just having come back in with his 5.0m and gigantic front foil(2100). Docker parked behind me and we all headed out, Fray still on his 5.0m and Docker and I rigging 6's. We foiled for about an hour in marginal conditions but always seemed like at least 10kts. Then it picked up to about 15-18kts and everyone else showed up (except BWD/Twizz/DOG/Rupp-Dogg) all at once it seemed. I rigged down to the 4.5m which was great albeit a bit underpowered at times having to pump to keep it up. Windoc was on his pencil board absolutely rippin' much faster than myself. I put in 100+kms today in just under 4 hours. It was a pretty good day although a bit cold on my fingers as I was using the palmless mitts. My last 10kms were used heading over to Port Angeles and back. ha! Felt like it anyways. Lots of the OG's out on the water today with Grant on his 8m which was pretty impressive for size as he was on the 8 while I was on the 4.5m. Hoping for a bit more tomorrow but definitely not another 100km day. Time for a Corona to celebrate!!
