Big big big afternoon out in the backyard bay! Sam and Greg coming off the water to rig down was a good sign. Decided to go with the 4m, just as Landon also arrived on scene. Trying out my new front foil Axis HPS930 (1180cm2), had a few rough moments to begin with but got used to it quickly. Lasted about 20 minutes then decided to come in for the 3m! Huge swells, huge wind, a bit of a war at times. Could have used my 2.5m but it was home resting, meanwhile everyone started to show up and was rigging the supersmall wings, Sam 3m, BWD 2.5, Tweezy 2.0, Shaggy 2.5, BigJohn 3m etc, Windoc may have been muscling out a 4m(?), same as GregTheOmen, and both ripping around as usual. Did I mention the swell! A couple times could not get upwind over the mountains as they were monstrous, breaking and occasionally deciding to deny me passage. But the downwinders were spectacular! sooo much fun and daredevil death defying drops, speed, and wipeouts! OOoOoeeee!!
