Timing is everything. Expected the wind to die, so I spent the morning watching it on the computer. Decided it was worth a trip to the beach. Arrived as TunaCan and Tweezer were getting off the water. It kept getting stronger, so I rigged the 4m. (Half of my usual). The shore break was huge, but I eventually muscled my way through it. Then the wind started to die a bit. Went back to the beach. Watched Bobson launch. Pumped the 5m and headed out with Greg. The shore break was a lot less. Everything looked really good, then the wind abruptly shutoff. Crap!
