Got into Willows at 9ish just as an unknown foiler was getting out and giving up. I set up just in case the forecasted winds came up. MtnarG, BigBird, Bobson soon showed up and looked out disappointingly, but hopefully, at the flat water. The winds came up a bit and I gave it a shot. Lots of slogging. Blow-up board was a bit sticky. Ended up with just a couple of short foiling runs and one flying jibe before the winds expired. Sad, but the sunshine, winger banter, and warmth was nice. At least the snow is back in the hills!
