The wind was bucking and so was the water. I initially thought about taking my Slingshot Celero but opted for the Duke which is more enjoyable to ride in choppy water. The wind was quite punchy but manageable. With the tide out the swell was breaking in long lines at the outer part of the sandbar. That made for some fun wind swell waves to slash and I got to go down the line a couple of times on some of the bigger swell wave lines. Had a great post session chat with Mark. It was still blowing quite hard when I left. Fantastic session, love the wave stuff.
