Way too nautical out in the straight ( i find that short period, steep swell quite challenging), but was strong enough i could play inside- had the whole big fishbowl to myself!
Strangely though, i found my hands getting colder than in February- luckily the lack of surf made the pitstop to change gloves and dunk in hot water less of an issue.
