The day looked challenging when I arrived and so it was. The wind was gusty and it definitely kept me on my toes. Lots of lift for some easy foot changes and some nice swell to slash. I had a good session but the punchy wind was tiring and I was only good for an hour. I came in and self landed with some lofty wind which required some care and caution. I put my gear away and was glad for it since I saw a large rain squall approaching. The wind ramped up as the squall approached and all the kites came in. It seemed like a wintery day, kind of cold and with difficult wind. Nonetheless it turned out to be a good session and I remain grateful for every session that I can have.
