Nice to have another weekend session. May westerlies are hopefully here to stay. Greg reported 5.5 through 3.5 (Tweezer) were being used. Pretty good practice session, some OP gusts early on threatened to get stronger in squalls but that never happened. I left at about 2 when the heavy rain killed the wind. Made some close-to gybes, oddly all on the scarier outside where I think the wave helped me stay on foil longer to get around the turn. Felt nearly balanced an in control with the wing pointing the right way a couple of times. I'm mostly making it round instead of falling off when the foil and board are dead downwind. I think some progress. Missed seeing (or nearly hitting the humpbacks.
