The forecast was a little green on both models but with 15 kts on the early report for Entrance Island and a sunny 20 degs for the afternoon, Pipers had to deliver. It did :))
10:00 The old pine was humming nicely and the fin crew (Uddereef, DavidM) were already rigging, (first signs of a good session at PL). Adequately powered for most of the first half. Consistent wind and best swell lines just past/ NE of the Hudsons, played there with HRock for a good bit. Felt a little uneasy this far out on a 4m. Things got horribly light on my way back through the Hudson Chain. Ran out of wind in the strong ebb watching Islets go by. I huffed and I puffed and got nowhere fast :/ Loneliest 20 mins and escaped on a lucky gust. Added a meter of sail for the second half for tack practice in the bay with HRock. Sam testing a shiny LW board.
Warm, sunny with good swell lines. Brilliant!
