Japan jet-lag had me snoring through the morning wind; Afternoon shift to maximize walking time with the low tide. Mile Marker almost completely out of the water, and the low tide helped maximize weed exposure.
Timed the switch perfectly to have just not quite enough juice with the flood tide, and when some fun gusts came through, the weeds did their job to help with the fuckery. A shame, as there were some fun little waves breaking onto the outer bar.
TT and big kite, or perhaps just staying dry and reading a good book would have improved the afternoon. The eleven degrees and rain really brought the session together.
