Smooth sailing in ma home bay :))
Swift breeze at the beach and caps mid-inlet, worth rigging! A SE in Saanich Inlet produces a light swell in Mill Bay just big enough to ride and that's what we got. Adequately powered with the Cab 6.2/1250cm, the 5.0 would have worked but sailing solo I added a meter of sail for a safe return. A pod of steller sea lions has taken up residence on Tanner Rk, I gave them a wide berth. With Frasermc joining in, I ventured across to Pat Bay hoping to greet any locals foiling about. Not today.
Warm, mild swell and close to home. That'll Do.
