Arrived to flattish water and 15-20kts. Had to park 8 spots up on Goat Hill which wasn't pleasant. Parking behind Rupp-Dogg was nice though as we had a nice chat about life while rigging. I finally got out and the wind wasn't quite as strong and the waves were much bigger. >>dislike<<. Anyways, headed out and foiling right away, had a few mins of schlog-a-loggin here and there but mostly enough wind, more inside than outside. Lots of big waves inside and swell outside. At one point, I saw a sailboat heading by so I figured I'd head out to say Hi but only got to within about 200 meters and decided I was 1/2 way to Port Angeles so turned and headed back. Did some fun downwind rides and some fun Wave rides on the way in. Lots of friendly faces today on the water and on the land. Wish I had got there earlier. Might take the afternoon off tomorrow so I can try out the new Wing board as I'm pretty sure it's the perfect board for where I am in my Wing progression. I guess I'll see. I've got a site at Nitinaht booked this weekend but weather doesn't look great so if anyone wants it, shoot me a DM and we can discuss.
