OK, 90% foiling turns.....YA BABY!! Killing it on the jibes now. WooHOO!! Anyways....Up early for steak, eggs and hashbrowns for breaky. Then a 2nd breaky at TnT's campsite which is really my campsite (f-16) but him and his posse were keeping it warm. It was cloudy and no real outflow. Wind started early and so did I. 10:30am with one kite foiler out already I blew up the 6.2m Ensis and went with the big board and 1100cm2 front foil. Took a couple mins to get a puff and from then on for basically the next 2 hours it was on. 10-20kts. I took a break after 2 hours for a quick snack and then back out for some more. Well, it was short lived as it started really blowing (20kts+) and I only had the 6.2m so instead of pulling out the Windfoil gear, I packed up and called it an amazing weekend. Lots of Winging with break throughs on the small board and becoming a jibe master on the big board. Lots of Windfoil too. Great weather and people and stoke on the water. I heard more WooHoo's than I've ever heard before at the lake and it wasn't just me this time. Ha! The road out was good except the first 10kms from the lake which was super rocky. Some of the best things this weekend were seeing people I haven't seen since last year at the lake, the delicious food and great Wing progress for me with the perfect amount of wind. Love that place!!
