A winger (Grant? Only caught a glimpse) nicely powered when I got there. Blew up the 5 and first reach was good. Wind immediately went fluke with big holes. Ended up way down the north ends. Frustrating to see strong wind just off the beach and it lifted and softened out where I was. Wind finally came in and had a few survival reaches making my way back up the beach. Near 40 knots at Race and gusty as hell off the ridge. 5.0 way too big. Stefan (?) rigging a 4 as I packed up. Good to be on the water again.
