OK, that was a pretty freakin' great session!! Arrived early, 11am to some guy in a truck that I'm pretty sure doesn't log his sessions on BWD so guessing he wasn't really there..?? Then "The Pope" rode in on his Man-Bike so we all said a quick prayer and rigged up!! Two Wings out, Fray-Fray was one and the other, I"m not sure. Also pretty sure almost everyone who Wing/Windfoils was there today. I didn't see a few peeps but maybe they were waiting for more afternoon wind. New record today, no not me, 4 Windsurf Foils out there today. WooHoo!! I was on the 4.5m all day, never overpowered but only didn't have enough wind when I went out too far and got caught in 'The Pit of Despair'. That is where there is wind all around you but just not where you are. A little frustrating but could see the wind coming so had a rest, waved to the whale watching boats and had a 1-way conversation with a seal. Anyways.... I caught a gust and a wave and then the wind picked up to the 15-19kts range for most of the rest of my sessions. Still feeling under the weather so put in my 50kms and then called it quits to come home and have a nap and some orange juice. Woke up an hour later and cracked an Ice Cold Corona and sat in the sunshine in the patio enjoying life. Hoping for some more and more and more tomorrow without all the snot coming out my nose and eyes.
