Well, ate my lunch and all of a sudden there was wind' So I put my big boy pants on and pumped up my 5.0m KT Direct Drive with its new bladder and grabbed the KT Wing Drifter 130 and headed out. Flat water and 15kts was almost perfect. Even though I fell in more in the next hour and 15 mins than I have in the past year of Windfoiling, it was worth it. On the small board (to me) I got lots of rides and stayed dry 50% of my jibes, I'm pretty sure I looked like a moon out there woohoo'ing on all my still planing turns. Probably only 3 or 4 but they felt great!! I'm making progress but need more time on the Wing board to get those jibes. Definitely have to practice my toeside riding. Most testing hour in the last 6 days. I'm gonna stick with it for awhile longer although it tough when the Windfoil is right there and I know I'm going to stay dry, make all my jibes and rip!! Still on the fence. Hope the jibe break through happens soon.
